A sign above the bar reads "We reserve the right to refuse service, ***To Anyone*** No matter who you are, Who you think you are, Or Who Your Daddy Is."  It is said that Edgar Allen Poe had his last drink at The Horse before his death.

They say his ghost still haunts the building.  We say they have some great music.  They were also one of the few establishments to survive prohibition.
